"Perfect" life

We all like to live in a dream world. A place with the “Perfect” everything. Perfect House, perfect family, perfect job, perfect boss. A life that brings a smile to our lips and lights up our faces. So that when we sleep at night, we have no worries or regrets. A peaceful and satisfied existence.
But when we fall off the Dream cloud and land into the Realities Earth, the picture is far from perfect.
Our Job is not something we ever thought we would be in, we hate our bosses, our house is just so ordinary and our families are anything but perfect.

Then there are people who expect that the “Perfection” world should be real and try to make it happen. They try to find “that” job which will make them happy and wealthy. They strive to be in good terms with their bosses, hoping that their office will be a happy place where they will be appreciated and recognized. They try to buy the perfect house, which they have always seen in movies. And they try to mend relationships, so that it will be an ideal family.

But, I wish they accepted the truth instead of living in false hopes and dream worlds. Imagination is good, but trying to build your world so that it is a reflection of that dream is just not worth it.
It not only makes you a fool, but also is painful to those around you, whose have to go through the experience as you strive to make everything perfect, only to see it fall apart again and again.

Many people believe in “Forgiving and forgetting” and starting afresh. But when reality strikes again, they are in for another heartbreak, since the people and circumstances generally remain the same.
If this same mistake is made repeatedly, how smart is it? Should one really keep trying to make everything perfect only to no avail. Is it not more heart wrenching to see ones dream shattered every time. How beneficial is it to live in the hope of everything being perfect someday?
